The gap between the number of tourists toKorea and Japan is expanding.
According to the Japan National Tourism Organizationon Friday, the number of Koreans visiting Japan in Januarywas over six-hundred thousand, while the number of Japanese tourists to Korea was a quarterof that, at around hundred-fifty-thousand.
The weakening Japanese yen is considered afactor in the growing number of Korean tourists to Japan.
The gap in the number of foreigners to Koreaand Japan is also growing.
Around one-point-two million tourists visitedKorea in January, whereas the number of tourists to Japan was twice that, hitting over twomillion.
